Privacy Policy Introduction We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. We will endeavour to ensure that the information you provide us with is kept private and confidential and is only used to provide the services you request. By creating an account and/or using the Site, you confirm that you accept this privacy policy and consent to our using your personal data. Information we collect In order to register on the Site, we require you to supply a valid email address and you will be asked to create a unique username. You also have the option of supplying your full name, country in which you live, your area location within that country, your own website address and a personal photo. If you supply these, all of them except your full name will be displayed publicly on the Site. However, we will not display your full name either publicly or to other members. On the Member Control Panel, you also have the option of supplying the following information: gender; date of birth; website URL; Twitter, Facebook and/or MySpace page; ICQ UIN; AOL identity; Yahoo identity; MSN Messenger identity; Country; Location; BlackBerry Pin; Full Home Address (including postcode); your telephone number; and a personal photo. All of this information, except your home address and telephone number, will be displayed on your “My Profile” page and therefore available for other registered members of the Site to view. You are allowed to upload an avatar, which will be shown on your “My Profile” page and also next to all your posts or topics you create; in other words, it will be available for public view. You can also upload pictures and information about your own car(s) and (after administration approval) this information will be displayed in the Featured Cars section and viewable by all visitors of the Site. As such, if you wish to obscure the registration number of the vehicle you should do so before uploading the photo. In order to place an advertisement on the Site, you will need to supply your name, date of birth, e-mail address, postal address and postcode. You may also provide your telephone number and website URL. The advertisement will display the following information: your member name, your location (although not your actual address and postcode) and, if supplied, your telephone number and website URL. If the advertisement is to be paid for, you will also be required to supply payment details and your vehicle registration. Credit Card information is collected over a secure connection. The Data Protection Act We are registered as required under the Data Protection legislation. We will follow the principles set out in that legislation at all times while processing your personal information. Your personal information includes things like your name, e-mail address, delivery address, billing address, telephone number and IP address. We will process your personal data carefully and lawfully, and will only share them within our organisation and among our employees and appointed representatives, except where we have your explicit consent. Security We will do our best to protect your personal data using appropriate technical and organisational steps, and will store it on our database within a secure network. However, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of your personal data. This website uses cookies. You can choose not to accept cookies, but this will prevent the website from functioning properly. Disclosure We will publish your telephone number and/or email address and, if supplied, your website URL within any advertisement you place, to enable potential buyers to contact you. We may also collect your postcode so as to locate your vehicle and provide this information to potential buyers, although we will not publish it. We will use your credit card information only to process payments, and will not retain a record of it. Apart from the above, we will not disclose your personal information to any third party without your permission. We will not transfer your data outside the European Union unless you require and have authorised us to do so. We may also use aggregate anonymised data and share it with third parties. However, if we reasonably believe that we are required by law to disclose your personal information to a third party, whether in compliance with any applicable law or regulation or by court order or in connection with legal proceedings, we may do so.
